The New Upholstery Shop has been proudly serving Boston’s South Shore for over 30 years. Located in North Scituate, Massachusetts we offer a large range of services that include: furniture reupholstery, window treatments, custom pillows & bedding, slipcovers, and wallpaper. We serve both residential and commercial clients, as well as design trade professionals. We pride ourselves in offering high end, handmade, custom upholstery to match any interior design needs no matter how small or grandiose.​

Owner Ann Burbine
Ann grew up sewing and while raising her three children took a chance in opening an upholstery shop in North Scituate, The New Upholstery Shop—Village Interiors. What was initially a one-woman business has expanded to include support staff and designers. With one of the largest lending fabric libraries on the South Shore, Ann enjoys working with customers and teaching about upholstery, fabrics and spending their money wisely- and about spending it where they live. Ann is a familiar face around Scituate and has donated her time and talents to the advisory board, the planning board, the Scituate Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the North Scituate Merchants- just to name a few.
